I have upgraded several of my older lightsabers with this plug and play kit. Easy to install. I just did my Bane mark I, no modding required. I have redone the paint job and added thumb screws in place of the blade retention set screw on all my blades.

I built a Saber hilt using the adaptive parts system. I got the Golden Harvest RGB board plug and play kit to finish it up. I had done some custom wiring on older sound board models and expected some work to be done with this kit but I was wrong. I had this installed in under five minutes! It fit perfectly. The only issue I had was figuring out how to secure the USB port. The switch button had a threading on the back to secure it with a nut but the charging port was smooth. I used a dab of gorilla glue. I'd rather have to change the whole switch section than have it come loose while dueling. All in all the features on the board exceeded my expectations and the quality is supreme. I'd recommend this to anyone of any level Saber builder. Make sure to get the matching diameter for your emitter and body section inside diameter though!

Compared to the older model of the kit that I own, this one felt... strange to me. Having the saber flash every time you do what I can best describe as a "aggressive" swing, or just the normal swing feels odd. I understand if it's an option to turn on and off, but personally I'd prefer if it the default option wasn't set to "On" or "Active."

Not sure if others would agree. Just my personal preference.

I think a cool concept would be if you could make an assembly based on the crystal sabers available in Adaptive Saber Parts. How you can disassemble the saber itself and reveal the core with the crystal inside. And of course, have it be standard compatibility or Neo-Pixel compatible. Options are always good with these kind of products. Giving the user more creative freedom.

Fits and works very well with my hilt and smooth audio is quite stunning
