This body matches nearly every build. Comfortable, Solid, Sleek. If you've been wondering what "Standard" might look like; fine grit sandpaper and a little bit of time will give you a fresh new look.
Being the owner now of two of these (an Extra Large and now a Large; remember, always measure your waist with your tunics, tabards and obi on!) I have found these to be comparable in quality to some of the regular-quality Etsy-listed belts which can sell for double or even triple the Saberforge price. The detailing and finish are rather simple but very effective and suited for non-face character/OC outfits. The large inner belt is tough and well-finished, suited for holding accessories, sabers and pouches, and the small outer belt is correctly sized and secured with the button studs. The outer belt is perhaps the slightest bit thinner than I would personally like but won't be bearing any hanging loads anyway. The second belt I got is slightly different from the listed and shown at Saberforge, and indicates improvements and changes from Ravenswood Leather to the item; the small outer belt is no longer a "true" belt and is now integrated with hidden rivets into the velcro closure of the inner belt through a small slit, similar to some other adjustable designs. The small belt is no longer adjustable in size at the buckle and the buckle loops are now secured with color-matched staples. Most crucially, the belt now includes a (as noted in other reviews, initially *very* tight-fitting!) leather keeper to conceal the velcro and bring the look more in-line with costuming organization standards for these belts. All of these changes are depicted in my included photos. The belt is otherwise as depicted in the listing. It is professionally made, well- fitting with good adjustability (but again, measure first!) and should serve me well in my outfit at Celebration 2027 while not breaking my bank.
I had to do some sanding so that it would fit in my lightsaber. But otherwise, great blade plug.
The lightsaber is solid and looks really cool. As my first lightsaber, I love it.
I will say that the controls and understanding the gyro controls takes time. My only complaint is the button. Either I adjust the volume or I invoke color change. So I try to avoid the button all together.
While that is my only complaint, it does not change my love for this saber or lesson my stars.
So, I love these, from the wrapped handles, to the programmable sounds and lights effects. The weight and balance is very nice for control, I've tried smaller cheaper versions and when you join a staff you need weight to balance it, if it's too light it can fly. The design is very focused and intense, looks menacing. The quick connector can be daunting at first until you get the hang of it with the pressure and twisting at appropriate moments. Then the sabers separate allowing for more versatility. The durablades Light up very well, high intensity, with lots of effects of flashing and different start ups with the rgb adapter on the pixel hardware, which brings me to the V3 Xeno Pixel blades, the colors and effects from rising and falling saber ignition, blaster strikes, force effects and programmable effects (which I have yet to find and program.) They are both amazing, customer service was great, and the size with 32 inch blades makes these a perfect saber staff from Saberforge for a 6'6" man. If you're debating wether or not to get the wrapped handles, definitely do, makes the experience a lot more friendly on the hands.
