This thing is awesome! Took me a minute to get the full range of functions down but man this blaster is quality. Solid construction, real gun heft and even a hammer you can pull back for fun! None of the safety or fire mode switches work or move even but that's understandable; and I wish the trigger had a lot more action than it does ( maybe moves 2-3 cm at most to fire ) but otherwise I have no issues with this blaster. E-12 is next for sure!

I bought this while I was on a saber spree. I ordered the Magnum Metal Scope.

When it arrived it was well packaged, like all of the packages I've received from Saber Forge.

I opened the package and lifted out my new toy. It is a solid prop. Full metal construction, fit and finish is spot on, and it looks perfect.

Navigating the Golden Harvest board takes some practice and the best thing you can do is watch the video with blaster in hand and go through the menus in real time. I am still having trouble getting my settings to "stick" but I am chalking that up to user error for now.

It would be nice if the blast effects and colors showed as you cycled through them. As it is you have to try each one and then go through the menu again if you don't like that setting. Maybe user error again? The video is not the DH-16 and it at least shows the color menu as you scroll through it, so maybe I missed something, but the video doesn't show how to show it.

I am sure there is one out there, but a YouTube video of each font would be welcome.

I really like that it comes with the stand. The stand looks good, but the "grate plate" required minor trimming to get it to fit.

If Star Wars props are your thing, the DH-16 is a worthy addition to any collection.

For a role play event I needed a blaster with light and sound and found this one. The price was a bit discouraging at first but I gave it a try. What can I say. Super fast delivery to Europe, and the quality is amazing. It's weight makes it incredibly realistic and gives you the feeling of wielding a real plasma weapon. The craftsmanship is superb and better than anything I have seen so far. In the end i would say that the price is justified. The only downside I see with this blaster is, that you cant deactivate the constant humming noise when the Blaster is active. Otherwise I clearly recommend this blaster.

I know this is supposed to be inspired by the DH-17, but damn this thing can be used for any KOTOR cosplay as well! Careful though, in the true spirit of Star Wars, they used à base from a real (probably airsoft) gun, I think a Mark IV, which a lot of moving parts and levers/buttons, and you DON’T want to do that. Also, on a software side, I discovered a hidden feature, it seems to have a reload sound when you do a chock (same as a clashing trigger for a lightsaber). Lastly the idle sound going uuuuup and doooooown all the time is quite quick succession is a bit annoying, I’d prefer either a stable sound or a longer cycle at least. But that should be programmable. All in all, I love it though! Good job Saberforge!
