Awesome Saber With Room for Improvement

First off, want to say that I bought this saber strictly for display; I do not pretend to either compat or cosplay so what I am about to say is relative to your purpose. I may take it every now and then just to swing it around or show it to people but that's it.

Having that said, on the aesthetic part of the saber; it looks gorgeous. I am not sure if it should be smaller or thinner compared to the real prop from the movie, but it looks amazing by itself, it is really a piece of art. I have purchased other sabers from other saber stores, and I have to say this build definitely looks superior. The whole crystal thing is a nice touch also, since this is the first saber I have that has that "extra" coolness.

The sound effects are nice but nothing to write home about. Again, compared to the other sabers I have from other stores, the sounds to the movement of the saber feel way better.

The light color and intensity are also what is expected; very bright, very nice. And here is one of the criticisms I have. I don't know if it is strictly to my saber and is an isolated issue; if it is a QC thing or if it happened during shipping, or if it is related to the "thin neck" design the Obi-wan lightsaber has, but the light flickers a little bit (not sure if this part is intended). If I wiggle the saber around sometimes it turns off while the sound and crystal are stilll on. It gets fixed by tightening or losening a bit the chamber where the crystal is and it turns back on. I am sure this is a simple thing, maybe like a lose contact or something but I am not sending this back as where I live I have to pay to send and receive stuff from the US. I also am not taking the saber apart; like I said, I bought this mainly for display so this is not a huge deal for me, it is just a little disappointing because it was an expensive saber and I ordered this on January and got it until April (althought this part I already knew so that is fine).

My second criticism is the "kill switch" design. The saber comes with a kill switch so that you don't turn it on by mistake or whatever, but it just looks plain ugly. You have to remove the little plate that has a magnet and put in another piece that just kills the way it is supposed to look. For display purposes this is no big deal as it will not turn on if you don't touch it but it just bothers me a little bit. Now, the little plate to cover the part where the kill switch and charging port go, is attached using a small magnet. It is not super strong, nor weak but it is a magnet that I feel can fall of pretty easily. Again, this is not a big deal for me, but is something that maybe others should know.

That's really it. All in all, the saber quality is pretty great, the important part for me is that it looks amazing for display. Like every electronic component, it can have its quirks, in this case is not a big deal but it is important that if you are paying this much you at least get what you want.

Great saber for collectors or Cosplay

This saber has great attention to detail, a multitude of customization options and the representations of the inspiring sabers hilts are fantastic. The weight is best set to use the medium blade but the effects and patters to the blade could take days to decide upon for your customs style. Not for battle but the best cosplay or theatrical blades I have seen or owned yet. The crystal saber is truly only meant for a HUGE fan or someone making new stories and films, for that there is none better. The lower end of Saberforge is also you best bet for quality at good price in battle or filming needs with blade contact. Just my opinion but I suggest you look at the companies and their products carefully before buying any saber.
BIG NOTE- the magnetic clip over activation switch is as previously reviewed, the weak link. It’s great for the idea that it doesn’t hurt the atheistic of the saber, but it is lost fast. I never use mine, it’s in a plastic bag with the charger…😉
So in my opinion, a fantastic saber for art, film, cosplay or festivals. Just make sure you leave the ignition cover at home and charge it fully.
I’m specifically talking about the Crystal version of the saber, just for clarification.

    Only one issue

The activation card either needs a stronger magnet of a different type of attachment method. It is difficult to nake all the proper features work with activation card in place and with it removed the button for activation is very small and difficult to operate. Other than that is is such a high quality peice and worth every penny i paid for it

    Pretty much PERFECT

Ordered this beauty at the end of November and recieved it on the first of February (way sooner than I expected)

The quality feels top notch. The responsiveness to motions as well as the menu controls are mind blowing.

Apart from the magnetic plate (which will easily fall off because it's just a weak little magnet) the build feels much stronger at the neck than Ultra Sabers build. The crystal chamber is fantastic looking and I see no possibly of damaging or loosing the crystal piece inside.

Every one of my fellow SW nerds is now insanely jealous and that's what it's all about.

    Missing Part's

I received the saber and it looks and feels great, but it was shipped without the switch cover, covertrch knob and no power supply
