Took 15 weeks, but the Crystal Redeemer Mk3 is here. I have three Saberforge lightsabers, and the Mk3 is the best engineered for sure. So much so that I am thinking of buying the crystal reveal version of the Prodigal Son.
Everything from the activation button to the way the blade screws in is built beautifully.
I wish there was a way to display the control plate over the activation pad in powered off mode, but the cutoff key has a huge handle. It’s a small nitpick tho.
My third thin neck Obi-Wan saber from Saberforge and it's gorgeous! Well constructed and feels good in the hand.
Very cool Saber
I honestly love it so much. The only thing that is slightly annoying is that the button on the hilt has to be pushed in a specific spot. If it were perhaps attached via a hinge rather than a magnet it would be better. But it's honestly not a huge issue
Good optic but too many problems
the lightsaber looks super nice and accurate like in the movie. Unfortunately, there were too many problems around me that I can't recommend it. 1. Some savings were made on the inside of the packaging, I ordered from Germany and the package therefore had a long delivery route and the blade was not adequately protected. 2. When the package arrived, the handle was in good condition, the neon pixel blade was optically too, but it just didn't want to glow. Not a good impression for almost $400. 3. The sound on the handle initially worked, but the sound wasn't quite as nice. After about 15 minutes, the entire technology burned through and is now completely useless 4. On the handle, the button to activate the blade is very loosely attached with magnets and wobbles around a lot 5. After asking the support what to do after this whole debacle, I was offered to send in the lightsaber for repair (I myself come from Germany and had to pay 160€ customs, I would have to pay this again + at least 100€ shipping!) Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not assume any costs even in such a case where nothing worked 6. Sending everything back is also too expensive and you don't even get your money back, but either credits for the store or an exchange for other goods. With this option, I would also have to pay another 100€ for shipping and for customs when posting again. So this is also a very weak solution In the complete conclusion one can say that it is visually beautiful and also feels good in the hand, but people who do not live in the USA should refrain from doing so, otherwise you will enter a huge cost trap. My apologies for the spelling everything was done in google translater
Our saber blades (Excluding Pixel blades) are rated for full contact dueling. Capable of withstanding heavy dueling, even against kendo bokkens, and nylon hema wasters. During the machining process, some sabers may develop sharp edges. Before any contact dueling (as with any type of dueling), we recommend wearing proper safety protection for your hands, body and face. This includes but is not limited to: gloves, body armor, face masks, and helmets. Always take the proper safety measures before dueling of any kind. Saberforge is not responsible for any injuries that result from saber play, combat choreography or dueling.
