My 1st lightsaber! Beautiful construction, really great weight, sound is fantastic, light is nice and bright. Wish the crystal chamber had a little more detail would be nice but otherwise great. There is a small gap in the seam on the emitter where the light can come through, but isn't too much of a big deal. Again, very beautiful and worth the price!
This is my sixth saber with SF. I have always been impressed with the quality of the merchandise and the fun I have had with it, especially during May 4th. If you don’t have a crossguard saber you need this one. The longer handle makes it great for a bigger guy like me who has fair large hands. The crystal chamber is such a charming feature and adds such great flair to the whole saber. The crystal doesn’t quite light up the same colour as the blades, but that was to be expected. The only qualm I have is that the lower part of the handle’s loops don’t connect at both the pommel and near the switch, leaving a possibility for them to be bent out and away from the saber if being careless. I have not yet tested this for dueling, but this leans more towards cosplay in my opinion. Hopefully I will have the opportunity to duel with it in the near future. Great job SF!
I got a Golden Harvest version, and it does not disappoint!
The smooth-swing is incredible, and it includes quite a few alternate sound-fonts, and the brightness is on part with the single-color sabers I've seen (which is sometimes a concern, with RGB). The V-shaped crossguard design is still among my favorites, and I have wanted one for a while.
It is a shame that there are not more pommels in stock right now - I would like to swap the default one for an ASP 16 or Venom pommel, but neither is available in Standard finish at the moment.
The finish is wonderful, the sounds are crisp, clear and precise, and the whole thing feels great in the hand. Good balance, sturdy design - I'd happily recommend SaberForge to anyone looking for a quality saber!
This is overall one of the best Crossblade sabers out there and I have had so much fun with it! Highly recommend
Our saber blades (Excluding Pixel blades) are rated for full contact dueling. Capable of withstanding heavy dueling, even against kendo bokkens, and nylon hema wasters. During the machining process, some sabers may develop sharp edges. Before any contact dueling (as with any type of dueling), we recommend wearing proper safety protection for your hands, body and face. This includes but is not limited to: gloves, body armor, face masks, and helmets. Always take the proper safety measures before dueling of any kind. Saberforge is not responsible for any injuries that result from saber play, combat choreography or dueling.
