Needed a new charging port because the wires on my core pulled out. Was hoping to have the unit come wired so I could hook it right up, but it was just the charging port, zero wires. Doesn't indicate on the website that it doesn't come prewired, and there's no options to get one that is assembled to attach to a core from what I've seen. The reason I spent the money on a new one instead of trying to fix my old one is because I don't have the supplies to fix it myself and I don't even know if the wires are salvageable from the old one. So now my 200 dollar saber is collecting dust in the corner because I have no way to charge it. I could take the battery out and charge it in another core, but all the wires are sealed to the battery so I can't do that either. I'm sure the charging button i got works, but since it's not wired up to test, I have no clue. Please make an option to have assembled electronics available? Or at least clearly state that they don't come wired up and ready for use. I miss swinging this saber around...
The charging port has a type of epoxy protection on the terminals, which is excellent! The pre-wired connection is great as well!

Our saber blades (Excluding Pixel blades) are rated for full contact dueling. Capable of withstanding heavy dueling, even against kendo bokkens, and nylon hema wasters. During the machining process, some sabers may develop sharp edges. Before any contact dueling (as with any type of dueling), we recommend wearing proper safety protection for your hands, body and face. This includes but is not limited to: gloves, body armor, face masks, and helmets. Always take the proper safety measures before dueling of any kind.
