Very likely from my usage, so I take the blame for it.... but I think perhaps if they were of a more durable material it would be perfect.
When my husband ordered the saber, there was a notation that the saber would only be as pictured for the tan/brown. Even with the order specifying the black. I was pleasantly surprised to get exactly what my husband had put in for me, the black leather with weathered metal. The dark blue was perfect for highlighting fluorescent colors, and is very bright. The saber was as I had imagined it to be. Very glad my husband had ordered this for me.

I recently got into this, and as a second lightsaber, I absolutely love it. Feels great in my hands, I love the brightness! It is an amazing product and addition to my slowly growing collection!!
Absolutely amazing make and quality, Saberforge is really the best at this. Wish I could choose the exact color I want through a color picker on all them though. But that is understandable do to the electronics being from separate places, and not that big of a deal.
Our saber blades (Excluding Pixel blades) are rated for full contact dueling. Capable of withstanding heavy dueling, even against kendo bokkens, and nylon hema wasters. During the machining process, some sabers may develop sharp edges. Before any contact dueling (as with any type of dueling), we recommend wearing proper safety protection for your hands, body and face. This includes but is not limited to: gloves, body armor, face masks, and helmets. Always take the proper safety measures before dueling of any kind. Saberforge is not responsible for any injuries that result from saber play, combat choreography or dueling.
