I was finally able to get in on the “scratch and dent” events. I got a nice little Eco Apprentice hilt that was all black. I decided I would try my hand at doing some aging effects and keep it as a little art piece. I sprayed it down with Easy-off and wiped away parts of the powder coat. Then I did some fun painting effects and a brown leather wrap. I loved how cool it came out, I ordered the electronics for it! Now I desperately waiting to finish the whole thing off. Send me those electronics, kids! ASAP!
The saber arrived extremely fast and well packaged! Really all it was kissing was the covertech ring, otherwise it was in great shapeA to anyone wanting an easy to install hilt at a budget cost, the scratch and dent sabers are more than worth it!

I purchased a scratch and dent elite eco hilt. There was a little bit of scuffing on the anodized finish but nothing to take away from the beauty of the product. Well worth the money spent. And with the eco drop in core, it's super easy to get this empty hilt ready for showtime!
Couldn’t be happier with my scratch and dent, got the crystal redeemer and it’s just got minor machining scars that are barely noticeable and super negligible. I ordered a Golden Harvest plug and play kit so I can put it together. Super satisfied, even with defects, I have to praise SaberForge for their awesome quality hilts. This is my 4th hilt from Saberforge and I don’t plan to stop there.
Our saber blades (Excluding Pixel blades) are rated for full contact dueling. Capable of withstanding heavy dueling, even against kendo bokkens, and nylon hema wasters. During the machining process, some sabers may develop sharp edges. Before any contact dueling (as with any type of dueling), we recommend wearing proper safety protection for your hands, body and face. This includes but is not limited to: gloves, body armor, face masks, and helmets. Always take the proper safety measures before dueling of any kind. Saberforge is not responsible for any injuries that result from saber play, combat choreography or dueling.
