Very sturdy and cool-looking belt. The clasp comes off so one can attach a D-ring clip or a covertech wheel clip to it. The leather is beautiful and reminds one of Luke Skywalker's belt in The Force Awakens. Overall two thumbs up.
First, this is a real leather belt that costs just a bit more than is charged for other fake leather belts. Having a real leather belt is really nice. The fit and finish is good.
The belt looks good and works well. There is two important points to be aware of.
Probably the most important point is to order a belt size that will accommodate both you and the clothes you will be wearing under the belt. I wore the belt with an inner tunic, an outer tunic, tabards, and an obi. These additional clothes added considerably to the circumference the belt had to fit. I had (mistakenly) ordered a belt for my usual waist size. Fortunately, the belt I ordered had enough range that it worked for me. You might not be so lucky.
Also, anything that hangs off the belt should be attached to the wide belt, not the narrow one. If you hang something to the narrow belt the narrow belt will slide off the studs and look funny. The wide belt is quite wide, so hanging stuff off the wide belt may limit your options. That said, the wide belt took the weight of my saber hilt and pouch well and with no sagging.
I would buy this belt again, but I won't need to unless I put on a few pounds.
Love the belt. Not sure what all the “We’ve missed you for delivery” messages were but came in great time.
I give four stars just for the quality but the customer service is the worst. I got the wrong size (sizing chart is a bit wrong it runs a little small) and it’s been a multiple week ordeal trying to send back and get a replacement. I finally got to the point where I can send it back but it’s been about three weeks after I received the product. Getting a reply from the company takes so long and is so frustrating because after day 6 of not hearing from them you question whether or not you’ll ever hear from them
I was hesitant at first since I didn’t see any reviews, but the price point was perfect to try out the belt. Once I received it, I tried it on with my Jedi robes and it fit perfectly. The belt is very sturdy and I feel it will definitely hold up over the years!
I am knocking one star because of the outer, thinner belt. I clipped my lightsaber to it and it immediately sagged. The only thing I can think of to remedy this is to find a similar brown duct tape to make sure the outer belt does not loosen with weight attached.
It did come with a second strip (one was dark and one matched the color of the main belt) so that was a nice bonus just in case one of them breaks. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, and shipping was very fast!
