Laser cut Kill Key

The laser‑cut Kill Key itself is very well made, but I was expecting clearer guidance on its intended use. There wasn’t a product video or installation reference, and after receiving it I’m not sure how it’s meant to interface with a SaberForge hilt. I don’t see a recharge port, kill port, or chassis location on my saber where this key would actually be used. Because of that, I think I may have misunderstood the product’s purpose or compatibility when ordering.

I wish I had known how absolutely cheap and pathetic these laser cut kill keys were before I ordered one with my saber. The saber is great, but this kill key came apart the very first time I pulled it out of the saber. I had to superglue the stem back into the flat disc part, and it doesn't fit well at all. These are NOTHING like the original kill keys that SaberForge use to provide that were all metal and will last forever. These are a cheap cost cutting effort and a real shame that they have switched to these.

The exteriors look nice and generally fit the aesthetic of the sabers themselves, however they're made of plastic and break with minimal handling.

The peg is perfectly circular and freely spins within the recharge port...meanwhile it's mounted off-center to the head, so when it spins, the head becomes misaligned with the rest of the saber.

It's an odd design...and would benefit greatly from a stronger material, and perhaps a track/grooved system to keep it from rotating.

When we initially discovered they were plastic, we wrote it off as a you get what you pay for thing. When the fist one broke just from inserting it into the saber we have, we were upset. Especially when all but one wound up breaking no matter how gentle we were. But what really set us off was the fact that they didn't even operate as kill keys. They didn't even move. Never buying these again.
