Exile Emitter

It is well made, and it doesn't have any 'windows' to show the blade colors when it is turned on. It fits well and accommodates the Saberforge drop-in electronics even when directly mated to the switch with no issues; a coupler is not needed.

So I was making a custom hilt using the Elite ASP, and wanted to pull some inspiration from Obi Wan's first hilt without trying to mimic it too closely, and this was the perfect emitter to pull it all together. Off the bat, it's nice and short, so if your build is getting longer, 6in grips and such, this would be nice choice. Personally, I am not a fan on longer hilts, so the overall length is routinely on my radar. This is just a beautiful emitter. The parts separate, and the girth is larger than most others, so it will stick out over the switch piece if not a thick switch...like the exile switch is thick and lines right up, however the overhang is minimal, and added to the look I was after. My favorite feature, besides shorter the length, and two tone look, is the funneled/beveled end of it. The way the blade sits in, and how it looks when ignited is very cool. One of my favorite emitters from SaberForge for sure.

I really like this emitter. It is smaller that others which allows more room for the rest of the hilt. It's comfy to hold after the bottom edge is dulled a little. There is a slight rattle when shaken but it has never fallen apart for me.
Something to consider is that this emitter is too short to be attached directly to a drop-in-core switch. The core reaches past the retention pin preventing it from holding a blade. Easily solved by adding a coupler.

Beautiful piece but the outer sleeve is loose. I would like to see the two pieces threaded and screwed together instead of having retaining screws holding them together. Otherwise, a great look for the saber hilt I imagined.
