If you are looking to get into the loghysaber hobby, the Eco line is the only way to go! The Defiant (baselit) is quite literally the nicest lightsaber I have ever had. It arrived just about an hour ago, and I am 10000000000% in love with it. The heft is entirely realistic, the sound is AWESOME, the LEDs are bright as hellfire, and the controls are simplistic and sensible in the best way. The machining for the hilt is professional quality, the leather supple and perfectly wrapped, and the overall design is tastefully intricate, calling on design work from both the Graflex and the Fallen Order. The fact that you can have a full color wheel, multiple sound fonts, a recharge port, blade plug, real leather wrapping, and a more advanced control board at the price of $190 is a deal that literally cannot be beat.

This is my second purchase from Saberforge. I am very impressed with the build quality of both this saber and my previous order (Fallen Order Eco). I opted for Standard finish with a genuine leather wrap in Outlaw Dark Brown and it looks PERFECT! The overall weight and grip is exactly how I imagine a real lightsaber would feel, and the 1.5" diameter means that this particular ECO hilt works with male-threaded pommel, adapter, and extension ASP parts! I ordered the Defiant Eco without electronics so I could put a Xenopixel v2 core into it. The xenopixel core I have is about 1mm too long for the included pommel, however shortening the pommel threads with a thin rubber gasket solves the issue completely. Shipping time was pretty long for both of my orders (roughly a month for each), but since that was my expectation at the time of my order, waiting wasn't a big deal. I will definitely be buying from Saberforge again!
To be honest, I was a little skeptical at first, as this is my first lightsaber. My fiance has a saber from Ultrasaber and said he paid about the same, so I assumed that their quality was industry standard. This lightsaber is BEAUTIFUL. Truly superb in comparison to his. It feels good in the hand, has a good weight to it. The soundfonts and color choices are amazing! I'm like a kid on Christmas morning with this saber, and my fiance is picking out one for himself as we speak.
It also arrived very well packaged. Lots of bubble wrap & paper in a thick cardboard box. It shipped to the other end of the country for me without a dent!
Second saber I've ordered, love them. Sent me a standard instead of weathered like I ordered but I don't mind. Will probably buy another one soon.
Our saber blades (Excluding Pixel blades) are rated for full contact dueling. Capable of withstanding heavy dueling, even against kendo bokkens, and nylon hema wasters. During the machining process, some sabers may develop sharp edges. Before any contact dueling (as with any type of dueling), we recommend wearing proper safety protection for your hands, body and face. This includes but is not limited to: gloves, body armor, face masks, and helmets. Always take the proper safety measures before dueling of any kind. Saberforge is not responsible for any injuries that result from saber play, combat choreography or dueling.
