I am absolutely over the moon with this saber. Fantastic quality, easy to use, and arrived in good timing. Will definitely buy another Eco in the future!
I'd purchased from SF many, many years ago. I'd head some negative things in the past, but also that they made efforts to turn public perception around. Ordered my saber about a week ago for a trip to Disney at the end of the month. Shipping was swift and I received it toady. The hilt is very well built, and the commands to change font, light patters, colors, and sounds are a lot easier and clearer than many other saber makers. The one issue is that I can't actually unscrew the body to get to the board if I ever need to do firmware updates. The instructions say the main body can be unscrewed from the switch-section, but try as I might I can't get it to budge. I wonder if the leather wrap was glued in place, and some of the glue got into the threads. So it's a great hilt as long as I never need to access the board for any reason.
My first "modern" saber, and I'm convinced these Xenopixel blades are the way to go for a great and affordable entry-point into the hobby. Works right out of the box, looks fantastic and is well-detailed, sounds are loud enough, the hilt feels great in the hand especially with the leather wrap, and there's a variety of fun built-in features. Time will tell if the saber holds up over the years, but right now it's a worthy display piece.
Make sure to read up on the features to get the most out your saber. There are also gesture functions which I had to learn through YouTube. (Twist/stab to activate, rotate while pointed down to change options, etc.)
This is the second saber I’ve purchased from you guys. You guys have the best quality sabers. My first one was the Reyflex Crystal. It is my all time favorite saber. I only wish I would have gotten the neopixel blade.
