Phoenix Emitter Mk2

This part is BEAUTIFUL on my saber. It looks great and if looks were its only purpose, it'd be 5 stars.

However there is a big problem, outside looks. The blade will not stay in when swinging. The black nob on the emitter doubles as a blade retention ****. However, the tip of this bit is completely flat. It does not dig into the blade, causing it to come loose and go flying if you swing it too fast. This has actually happened to me a few times now, even a couple times durring duels. For those wondering, you cant replace this nob with an actual **** because the nob is also used to hold the shroud in place.

This **** needs a redesign. It is holding the rest of the beautiful piece back. I have also provided a video where I tighten the nob as much as possible and very easily pull the blade out with little leverage or force. This indicated the lack of blade security that the nob provides.

This emitter compliments a recent build, far beyond my expectations. As always, the craftsmanship and finish are absolutely superb.

I love the design of this. But because of the powder finish rather than the machined finish of all the other standard finish parts it looks out of place and clunky like it doesn’t belong with the rest of the sabers that I try to piece together with it. Rather disappointing really.
