Ordered two one has a small defect that looks more like weathering and the other looks perfect waiting on parts to do the builds but I wasn’t disappointed.
I am very pleased with the two scratch and dent sabers I received. The next time I get an email about this kind of sale going on I'll definitely buy more.
If you go into it being cool with whatever you get, it's a hell of a deal. I got the Epoch mk2 which I normally would not have bought full price, but is a very solid hilt none the less. Wouldn't even notice the scratches unless you were looking.
I got the original Epoch many years ago now, as my first saber. Recently gutted and overhauled the electronics, and still love it. I've been eyeing the mk3 as I love the new design too. Now that I have both mk1 and mk2, I just might be pushed to complete the set. Ordering from SF has been a great experience and look forward to seeing what you all continue to do in the years to come.
Saber came packaged perfectly, they call it scratch and dent but to my eye I saw nothing, it's beautifully crafted and I loved the mystery behind it, how I had no idea what I'd get. Very happy wiry my purchase through Shop doing the 4 payments made it so easy and stress free, definitely looking forward to the next scratch and dent sale!
First shop at sabreforge and I did not have high expectations for the scratch and dent sale. But holy moley! These things are essentially in perfect condition, I had to look very hard to find any imperfection. The sabres are cool too, I thought it might be an eclectic jumble of parts but they are a coherent and complete hilt. A great first sabre.
Our saber blades (Excluding Pixel blades) are rated for full contact dueling. Capable of withstanding heavy dueling, even against kendo bokkens, and nylon hema wasters. During the machining process, some sabers may develop sharp edges. Before any contact dueling (as with any type of dueling), we recommend wearing proper safety protection for your hands, body and face. This includes but is not limited to: gloves, body armor, face masks, and helmets. Always take the proper safety measures before dueling of any kind. Saberforge is not responsible for any injuries that result from saber play, combat choreography or dueling.
