Quality isnt bad. Solid feeling hilt. Blade sits secure. The controls are a little fussy. Had a shopped around i could have bought it at half the price from multiple other vendors. My biggest complaint is the battery and charging. Even when turned off the battery drains. After a full charge the saber loses power while being fully off within 2-3 days. Charging requires unscrewing the hilt as there is no outside port. So this is less than convenient. Especially when considering that it loses your settings when the battery dies. The effects and sound on the blade are pretty good. Its bright and looks really good. The sound is clear and reacts well to movement. They say the pixel blades are rated for light sparring but I'm not sure ill ever use it for that it doesn't feel like it could handle it to be honest.
Our saber blades (Excluding Pixel blades) are rated for full contact dueling. Capable of withstanding heavy dueling, even against kendo bokkens, and nylon hema wasters. During the machining process, some sabers may develop sharp edges. Before any contact dueling (as with any type of dueling), we recommend wearing proper safety protection for your hands, body and face. This includes but is not limited to: gloves, body armor, face masks, and helmets. Always take the proper safety measures before dueling of any kind. Saberforge is not responsible for any injuries that result from saber play, combat choreography or dueling.
