First of all I am french so please forgive my english.
I'm a huge fan of CloneWars Ahsoka Tano lightsaber hilts and its an enormous pleasure to finally get them.
They are very well built and I dont really have any issues to share for now. There may be some explanation as to how the sabrestand is constructed and how to remove the hardware, but with a little experimentation you can find out.
Here are some tips I wish I had to make things easier :
Be careful when removing the SD card, do it with two fingers rather than one, I bent mine that way.
To open the main hilt, unscrew the pommel and the two screws at the opposite side of the ignition button. Then push the switch inside the body and you can get the hardware out.
To open the shoto hilt, unscrew the pommel, the ignition button and the black clip belt.
The way you activate the music, change the font or turn on the saber depends on the orientation of your movement. With your right hand, twisting your wrist inwards will switch on and off the saber while turning it outwards will activate the music (nose up) or change the font (nose down).
Here are some pictures of the two ways I found of building the sabrestand.
Some remarks : to keep the neck really tight, you have to screw it in further, which is sometimes complicated with the screws that hold the blade (cf. photo)
It might have been faithful to the series to have a shorter blade with the shoto but two blades of the same size suit me personally.
To conclude, I'm really happy to have acquired these lightsabers. It gives a really powerfull feeling just to switch on with a simple wrist movement. I hope this review has been useful to you. I thank Sabreforge for his work.
I love these little guys.
The looks of the hilts are great! However, box came damaged, no instructions on how to charge smaller hilt, how to attach blade AND both acrylic displays. Expected better when spending $600+ on this purchase.
Our saber blades (Excluding Pixel blades) are rated for full contact dueling. Capable of withstanding heavy dueling, even against kendo bokkens, and nylon hema wasters. During the machining process, some sabers may develop sharp edges. Before any contact dueling (as with any type of dueling), we recommend wearing proper safety protection for your hands, body and face. This includes but is not limited to: gloves, body armor, face masks, and helmets. Always take the proper safety measures before dueling of any kind. Saberforge is not responsible for any injuries that result from saber play, combat choreography or dueling.
