FAQ

Can your sabers be dueled with?

Yes, our saber can withstand heavy dueling, even against kendo bokkens, and nylon hema wasters.  

What kind of LED's do you use in your sabers?

For our 12w+ LEDs, we mount four 3w cree XQ-E modules on a copper 20mm star board. These LED's are brighter than anything on the market, and because we build them in house, we are able to offer the largest selection of colors in the industry.

Our Cross Guard sabers include one 12W+ LED for the main blade, and two 6W+ LEDs for the side blades.  For our 6W+ LEDs, we use two 3w cree XQ-E modules on a copper 20mm star board.

Do your sabers have sound?

Our champion and hero level sabers come with sound.  Champion tier offers two different sound fonts to choose from, and Hero tier includes a customizable soundboard that allows you to download any soundfont you want.

Do you make custom sabers?

Yes we offer a large selection of parts for custom sabers through our Adaptive Saber Parts system.  Through ASP, you can design and build your own custom saber.  For more information, please email us at sales@saberforge.com.

Do you make replica sabers from the movies?

No, we are not affiliated with lucas ltd. or Disney and we will not make replicas from any of the movies, video games, or comic books.

Can I change my order after it has been submitted?

Our goal at Saber Forge is for each order to process as quickly as possible without sacraficing quality. For this reason we are unable to accept order changes or additions, we highly recommend ensuring all details for your order are correct before completing checkout. Lead Time Information

Because our sabers are high quality and there is a huge demand, our estimated lead time is currently 4-5 weeks. We appreciate your patience during the build process as our master saber smiths create your work of art.

Please note, custom wraps require an additional 2-3 weeks lead time, custom finishes require 2-4 weeks, and Legacy Sabers require 8-12 weeks.

Once your order has been built and shipped, domestic shipping transit time is 2-3 business days, international shipping transit time is 5-10 business days. Please note, international customers are responsible for paying import tax or duties.

We ship all of our orders with signature confirmation to prevent theft.

We're very sorry, however we are unable to accept rush requests at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding.

Returns and Cancellations

Cancellation/Return Policy

Cancellations may be made within 24 hours of ordering for a full refund. To cancel your order email sales@saberforge.com with the subject line "Cancellation Request (Your Order Number Here)". Not using this as your subject line may cause delay for your cancellation.

Returns are accepted for 15 days after delivery, provided all items are in pristine resellable condition.  Please note, shipping fees are non-refundable. Click on the SaberForge RMA form and fill out all the information requested, print RMA form and include with your return.

Chargebacks

Fraudulent chargebacks will be disputed and may result in criminal charges for theft and/or felony postal fraud. Filing a chargeback is not an acceptable method of requesting a refund or cancellation.  Doing so may result in your account being blocked from making future orders.

Defective or Incorrect items

Any defective or incorrect items MUST be returned before a refund or replacement can be issued. Customers who claim an item is damaged or does not match the description are required to return the merchandise before a refund or replacement will be sent.

Refund policy

Refunds will be issued for items returned within our 15 day return period. Return shipping will be paid by the buyer. Our refund processing time is 3-5 business days after the merchandise has been returned to us. Click on the SaberForgeRMA form and fill out all the information requested, print the RMA form and include with your return. BE SURE TO STATE THE REASON FOR RETURNING THE ITEM IS TO RECEIVE A REFUND.  This will help ensure your refund is processed as quickly as possible.

Promotion Policy

Promotional sales can not be retroactively applied for any reason whatsoever, they can also not be combined with previous offers. This means you can not cancel an existing order to re order with a new promotion, also you can not order a gift certificate during a promotion to use durring a second promotion thereby combining the discount rate. There are not exceptions, please do not violate these policies or we will consider refusing future service.

International Delivery/Shipping Policy

Our international orders are ship worldwide from our headquarters in Oregon, via USPS international priority, with tracking and insurance. To determine if USPS has delivery service to your country, please select your country from the drop down menu when entering your shipping address. If you do not see your country in the drop down menu, unfortunately we cannot currently ship to you.

Customers outside the US are responsible for paying import duties & taxes.

Warranty

We have the BEST warranty in the saber industry. Our machined metal parts have a LIFETIME warranty against manufacturer defect and all of our electronics (excluding DIY electronics) and blades come with a 1 year warranty that covers blade on blade dueling. If your saber, electronics, or blade is damaged or broken within 1 year of purchase due to normal use, we will replace or repair it, free of charge (this warranty excludes do-it-yourself electronics which do not have a warranty). If a machined metal part ever fails due to manufacturer defect we will replace it. That is the SaberForge advantage.

Our Warrior, Champion and Hero tier Sabers, Electronics, and Blades are warrantied for blade on blade, full speed, full contact, dueling. User inflicted damage from dropping, submerging in water, or other non dueling related activities is not covered by our warranty. Please do not attempt to disassemble, modify or repair your hilt yourself, as that will also void your warranty. Initiate tier sabers come with the lifetime warranty for manufacturer defect, and as these are meant for DIY builds, they may be disassembled, modified and repaired by the buyer.  Electronics installed by the buyer are not covered under warranty.

Our saber technicians rely on the details written on the RMA form to know how to process all sabers sent back to our facility for repair/upgrade/exchange. It is very important to be specific when filling out the RMA form. Also be aware that our saber techs are unable to perform any services on returned sabers that have not been pre-approved by SaberForge customer service representatives and specifically requested on the RMA form. Please contact sales@saberforge.com if you experience any complications with your saber to get approved for your warranty repair.

Shipping costs are not included in warranty coverage.

Extended Warranty Policy

SaberForge is now offering extended warranty service contract plans for our customers. Our extended warranties covers manufacturer defect and damage caused by normal use.

Our Sabers, Electronics, and Blades are warrantied for blade on blade, full speed, full contact, dueling (this warranty excludes do-it-yourself electronics which do not have a warranty).

User inflicted damage from dropping, submerging in water, or other non dueling related activities is not covered by our extended warranty.

Please do not attempt to modify or repair your hilt yourself, as that will void your warranty.

Shipping costs are not included in warranty coverage
