Not compatible with Adaptive Saber parts.

I purchased the Xenopixel "drop in core" to complete a saber build using Saber Forge's Adaptive Saber components. The core utilizes a screw in the back to hold it in place as well as to push the activation button and charging port forward into position; the hole for this screw is not threaded.
There are (at least) two compatability issues with the Adaptive Saber components. The first is that the holes for the activation button and charging port of Saber Forge's switch sections do not line up with the button and charge port on the core. This causes the charging port to sit very low in its respective opening, but also exposes more of the core, and looks kind of bad.
The second and biggest issue is that the back of the Adaptive Saber switch sections do not come with a hole in the back for the core's main screw mentioned earlier. This makes the "drop in core" completely incompatible with Adaptive Saber parts without drilling and threading the back of the switch section, which is not mentioned anywhere in the product description as of this writing.
On top of the compatibility issues, the manual included with the core does not include any steps for installation, and most search results for instructions just bring up the button sequences for the software, making the discovery of the screw issue all the more frustrating.
The product was also shipped with the battery loose, floating in the shipping box separate from the rest of the core.
Unless you have a saber hilt that is already tapped and utilizing this style of electronics, it's best to avoid this product. Even if you do have a hilt already set up for this style of core, be aware that the battery may be hidden among the paper filler of your shipping package.

Amazing!

This is an amazing product! My dad bought this for me for Christmas, and it is so cool. I make lightsabers out of cardboard so I needed light and sound. And it works so well. If I had to nitpick I would say the top get hot when it’s on too long and the charger/button were too far in the core, but I fixed it. That’s it! Thx SaberForge! Keep up the good work!

Great electronics!

Very fun and versatile. It does a lot of what more expensive set ups do. Makes me want to get a few more hilts!

Seems great

Unfortunately I did not realize that I do not have an Eco hilt so I can't use this at all. Other than that it seems pretty well constructed and has excellent light and sound quality.
