Works great, but was slightly difficult to install. It sounds and looks amazing, and would recommend the Veteran RGB kit for anyone instead of the Warrior kit.
The plug and play that I purchased stopped working less than a week after I received it. I have tried charging and still nothing. This is very disappointing due to the fact that it took over 3 months to receive. I will not recommend purchasing anything from Saberforge due to the experience that I’ve had. This is not quality work that is advertised. Low quality and long lead times those aren’t good treats for a company to gain repeat customer.
I had heard about SaberForge in passing, and thought my Hasbro FX Series models were cream of the crop. I couldn't have been more wrong. I made my way to the SaberForge showroom to build a fully custom saber using the adaptive parts program. The selection and customization options are mindboggling (but incredibly fun).
I went with a First Harvest Plug & Play system for my hilt. I wanted something I could DIY but fell short of wiring my own soundboard. The install was a little trickier than I thought it would be - the wired clips are very sensitive - but with some help for Marie in the showroom everything got locked and loaded. It's an amazing electronics package. The sound options are impressive and varied. The color range is awesome for creating a nuanced blade effect. It all houses firmly in the hilt body. Note that you may want to apply a small bit of gaff tape to the inside of the hilt if there's any extra space (prevents rattling). Once fully assembled, the weight and substance of the saber is impressive, most impressive. Cannot wait to put it through some paces.
Overall, terrific experience and I learned a ton about building sabers. So happy with it.
Got this kit for my ASP Pathfinder build. Works perfectly, little trouble getting the speaker chassis to go all the way in but it did with the help of the pommel. Very crisp and loud sound, and the LED is bright and very responsive. Overall 10 outa 10 as usual for Saberforge. Thank you.
The components install was a piece of cake, and so far full contact dueling is good! I love the variery of thr sounds, colors, and effects. Quality 10/10
Our saber blades (Excluding Pixel blades) are rated for full contact dueling. Capable of withstanding heavy dueling, even against kendo bokkens, and nylon hema wasters. During the machining process, some sabers may develop sharp edges. Before any contact dueling (as with any type of dueling), we recommend wearing proper safety protection for your hands, body and face. This includes but is not limited to: gloves, body armor, face masks, and helmets. Always take the proper safety measures before dueling of any kind. Saberforge is not responsible for any injuries that result from saber play, combat choreography or dueling.
